Friction Top Mini: Spalted Maple with 19-piece top framed in Padauk

A fair amount of locally harvested Saskatchewan hardwood makes up this Friction Top Mini box. Using local Spalted Maple in the overall construction, the rhythmically arranged top has Walnut and Figured Maple, with a laminate design of local Manitoba Maple and Central American Purple Heart framed in Padauk. Maple Interior. 3-piece bottom, signed and numbered by the artist. Finished in Tung Oil and a local beeswax mix, giving a smooth satin feel.

All of our boxes are completely unique, one of a kind (no duplicates made), and hand made in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan.
